True North: by Bill George is a fantastic Leadership resource.  I would compare this to Leadership Challenge by Kouses and Posner which I still think is one of the greatest leadership resources still today.  However George does an excellent job with the Personal Guide.  I am not sure I would even buy the book, if I would have purchased this first.  This is a great resource for leaders and I think will prove to be useful for especially Christian leaders in any context, but would give it to my friends who are climbing the corporate ladder.

Unwrapping who you are can sometimes be a difficult journey and some approach it with mixed feelings.  Vince will lead us through this, as we begin the first steps of unwrapping two critical items in discovering our spiritual gifts: first the purpose of spiritual gifts, and second our own awareness of the gifts that God has given us.

There are few books which I can say my eyes could not skim across the page fast enough.  And there are few book that caused me to to weep like a baby while reading.  This book, and this is a bold statement, is the greatest book I think I have ever read.  And it would be a mistake for Christians and non-Christians alike to not read this book.

Every leader makes mistakes, even one's who think they don't.  In this lesson Vince deals with the three most common mistakes he see in young college leaders and suggests simple practical steps for avoiding these.  This lesson is based on the final interaction of Jesus with Simon Peter on the beach after His resurrection as Jesus helps Peter discover his Leadership Moment amid his leadership mistakes.
